Pesus is a signature red wine with a very limited production, only 2,000 bottles, crafted with care in La Horra, Burgos, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero. It originates from our oldest plots, with vines over 100 years old, grown on clay-limestone slopes overlooking the Duero River, at an altitude of 830 meters.

This single-plot wine is the pure expression of terroir and traditional craftsmanship. No chemical fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides are used. The harvest is done by hand, with a rigorous double selection of grape bunches in the vineyard and at the winery.

Tasting Notes

Pesus shows a deep cherry red color with garnet hues. The nose is intense and complex, revealing aromas of dried plum, roasted coffee, toffee, with a mineral background (flint and slate) and spicy notes of cinnamon, vanilla, sandalwood, and thyme.

On the palate, it's refined and powerful, with silky tannins, great structure and balance. Flavors of fresh and stewed black fruit, cocoa, English chocolate, and aromatic herbs unfold into a long and elegant finish. A wine to enjoy now or to age gracefully for years.
