The Glenrothes 18 years, is a Speyside Single Malt whisky matured in oak barrels that previously contained Sherry

A complex and round expression, aged only in oak barrels seasoned with sherry, in a large proportion, first fill. Bottled at its natural color and with a character of sweet vanilla, pear and fresh ginger.

The Glenrothes 18 year old whisky has an aroma with notes of orange oil, vanilla pods, pear and almonds. On the palate it is sweet, ginger, rose water, pears and vanilla. The finish is sweet, spicy and slightly spicy.

The Glenrothes 18 year old whisky is part of "The Soleo Collection", a tribute to Sherry artisans and fortified winemakers, as this single malt ages in oak barrels for which Oloroso de Jerez was previously matured. .

The name of the collection refers to the "soleo” (sun-drying of the grapes to prepare them for fermentation). The whiskey has been aged for 18 years in sherry casks and bottled at its natural colour.
