Os Cipreses red wine is a young red wine from the Ribeira Sacra Denomination of Origin in the sub-area of Chantada, made with the grape varieties Mencía and Tempranillo.
The vintage of the wine Os Cipreses red is manual, the grape is subjected to a maceration and alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks controlling the temperature to preserve the aromas and to properly extract the polyphenols. Finally a biological deacidification occurs, the malolactic fermentation, which takes place spontaneously, thus gaining the wine in softness, aromatic complexity and microbiological stability.
Slowly, during the winter, the wine is self-clarified by means of a natural decant obtaining an optimum tuning for bottling. It is rounded in bottle for a month before going to the market to obtain a broth of supreme quality.
The wine Os Cipreses red is cherry-colored with purple trim. In the nose it has an aromatic complexity with notes of currant and black fruits. In the mouth it is delicate, well structured and with a marked retronasal.
Alcoholic graduation 13.5% Vol.
Bottle capacity 75 cl.
Operating temperature: 14-15ºC.
