Cosme Palacio Crianza is a red wine with D.O. Ca. Rioja elaborated with 100% Tempranillo grapes. 

Alcoholic fermentation: the grapes are destalked but not crushed, and after a long maceration they are fermented in stainless steel tanks with automatic control of the temperature, pumping-over and micro-oxygenation. The malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, adding layers of spices and a smoother, more appealing character 

Aged for 12 months in 225 litre French oak barrels with at least 10 months in bottle. The barrels are lightly toasted, hand-cleft barrels from the very best French cooperages 

Bright red with purple highlights on the rim, a great depth of colour, with brilliance and vibrancy: the first visual cues as to the excellence of this wine.

Great aromatic intensity offering a broad spectrum of concentrated fruit, raspberry and black liquorice aromas, with a backdrop of fragrant balsamic herbs. Mature red fruits in perfect harmony with sweet spices in the foreground and a background of vanilla and eucalyptus. 

Lively, with great personality, it fills the mouth wth fruit flavours and silky tannins of great quality. Delicate, elegant, delicious, with persistence and a long, broad and well-balanced finish
